Coronation Events in Pershore
Celebrations in Pershore for the Coronation of King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort:
Pershore Rotary will be organising a shop window competition for shops in Pershore, starter packs will be supplied by Pershore Rotary
Club windows to be dressed for the two weeks preceding the Coronation from Friday 21st April until after the celebrations, and will be judged by members of Pershore Rotary Club on Friday 5th May
Saturday 6th May will be the Coronation Day itself, Number 8 will be showing a live screening of the BBC footage. There will be free admission.
Sunday 7th May from 12noon until 3.45pm will be the CORONATION BIG LUNCH around the bandstand in Abbey Park, Pershore
There will be entertainment with Griff Collins and an open mic session, so all you budding musicians out there – start limbering up !
Bring your own picnic, bring a chair, bring your friends and family
People attending the big lunch are invited to wear a fancy hat, any hat will do….the fancier the better!
This will be totally FREE EVENT
Afterwards there will be a service of celebration in Pershore Abbey at 4pm with cake !
