For the Coronation of HRH King Charles lll, Pershore Town Council are asking as many of you as possible to get creative to help us fill two full strings of ‘community bunting ‘ that will be strung up on Broad Street as part of a community initiative ready for the Coronation celebrations. If we have a great response, additional triangles will be strung up and used around the town, so please bring them in!

The only rules that apply are that each design must result in a triangle of fabric/ knitted or crocheted  measuring 20cm across the top and 30cm each side which is an A4 sized piece of paper. It can be any mix of colours and designs and once complete, each piece can be brought into the Town Hall by 31st March, where the process will begin to string them together!

Please encourage your friends and family to have a go, or make it a bit of a get together for swapping ideas and fabrics, wool etc.  Anyone can get involved, so get sewing and knitting  you crafty people and be a part of a very special community bunting initiative which will be on display for all to see!

The Town Council together with Place Board will be organising additional bunting for the High Street too.
