Thank you for volunteering in Pershore
To mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, Pershore Town Council have purchased 1000 pin badges for those who kindly donate their personal time to volunteer to help the people of Pershore.
These pin badges will be mainly distributed through The Volunteer Centre who will be in attendance at “The Big Sunday Lunch” on Abbey Park from 12pm on Sunday 7th May. Those who volunteer and are affiliated with The Volunteer Centre will receive their badge that day, or through the centre themselves thereafter.
Cllr V Wood has receipt of enough pin badges to award volunteers at Number 8 Community Arts Centre, and will distribute these in due course.
Those volunteers in Pershore who are not affiliated with The Volunteer Centre, or Number 8, are asked to pop into the Town Hall (open 10am – 4pm, Mon – Thurs and 10am – 3pm Fri) where their pin badge will be awarded via the office staff.
Pershore Town Council would like to thank everyone who volunteers in some way to help support the people of Pershore. Help includes driving to and from appointments, signposting to various medical and support services, delivering groceries, supporting in the provision of entertainment and many more.
The Town Council hopes everyone enjoys the Coronation weekend, and fully celebrates this special occasion.
