Cllr Burdon’s Personal Bio:
I am originally from Gateshead and moved to Pershore almost two years ago from Carshalton, in London.

My wife and I moved here following my retirement from the Home Office.  My last role was within Immigration headquarters, where I led on procurement, contract management and project management.

At present most of my spare time is spent renovating our home and garden. I am a hands on DIY enthusiast and can turn my hand to most things.

I am a father of three and a grandfather of two girls who are all regular visitors and also love Pershore.

I stood for the Town Council as I have a strong belief in local democracy and involving local people in local decision making.  I want to do my best to ensure Pershore remains a great place to live, work, run a business or visit.
